This work is devoted to the spectral properties study of biological tissues. Tumor samples of the prostate removed during surgery or partial resection were studied. Visually and morphologically unchanged tissues of human prostates as well as tumor tissue were examined. The spectroscopy systems used lasers with wavelengths of 532 nm, 785 nm, and 1064 nm to excite Raman scattering and autofluorescence. Raman spectra have specific spectral "markers" for each tested object. The analysis of the spectral characteristics was performed using the method of projection on latent structures to highlight the variation between spectral features of different tissue types.
